Brite Monthly – Preschool: June 2025
This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God is victorious
Throughout the epistles, we encounter stories of the early church facing persecution, trials and uncertainty. In each letter, God’s provision and hope shine bright. Yes, we face trials and have an enemy, but God is our living hope. He equips us with His armor, and He will return one day. God is ultimately victorious, regardless of our circumstances!
Monthly Memory Verse: His Kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19)
Romans (Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23)
Paul shared how God sent Jesus to pay the price of our sins. Whoever trusts in Jesus receives God’s grace and a restored relationship with Him both now and forever. Brite Idea: God is greater than our sin.
Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18)
Believers have been given the armor of God. We can only fight against the devil’s schemes in God’s power and with His spiritual weapons. God is always greater!
Brite Idea: God is greater than evil.
Living Hope (1 Peter 1–5; 2 Peter 3)
Believers were being persecuted for following Jesus. Paul assured them that Jesus is our living hope. We can trust God because we find our hope in Him.
Brite Idea: God is greater than our suffering
Philemon (Philemon)
While under house arrest, Paul shared with Onesimus about the saving grace of Jesus. Paul wrote Philemon, a letter, asking for kindness for Onesimus.
Brite Idea: God is greater than our circumstances.
Jesus’ Return (Revelation 1, 21–22)
John received a vision about how Jesus will return and bring about God’s new heaven and new Earth. Because of Jesus, we can have eternal life with God in heaven.
Brite Idea: God will make all things new.

Teaching Kids about the Gospel
The Gospel is the good news. God wants everyone, even preschoolers, to know this good news.
Here’s the Gospel in four words: God, Us, Jesus, Trust.
God
God is a loving God who is all-powerful and holy. He knows and sees everything and rules over everything. God created all people in His image, and we are valuable to Him.
Us
But we have sinned, and our sin separates us from God. What is sin? Sin is anything we think, say or do that disobeys God. The penalty for sin is death and separation from God forever.
Jesus
But because God loves us so much, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin. Jesus died in our place. But He did not stay dead—He rose again three days later. Because of Jesus, we no longer have to be separated from God, and we are offered the free gift of eternal life!
Trust
God gives salvation—rescuing us from our sin, to everyone who places their trust in Jesus as their Savior. What is trust? It means that we rely on what Jesus did. You cannot be saved from sin by doing good things but only through what Jesus did for you.
