Brite Monthly – Preschool: March 2026

This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: Jesus loves

Throughout our stories this month, the love of Jesus shines bright. Jesus’ unconditional love reaches beyond all boundaries. Jesus knew the suffering ahead, yet His love compelled Him to move forward for our sake. Even in the pain of betrayal, Jesus remained faithful—His love never wavered. Through every act, Jesus showed us a love that is constant, sacrificial and beyond measure.

Memory Verse: Abide in My love. (John 15:9)

The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–24)

Jesus told a parable about a son who left home and squandered his inheritance. His father welcomed him home with love and celebration.
Brite Idea: Jesus never stops loving us.

The Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11–19)

Jesus healed 10 men with leprosy after they asked for His help. Only one, a Samaritan, returned to thank Jesus. Jesus told the man that his faith had made him well.

Brite Idea: Jesus loves everyone.

Triumphal Entry (Matthew 21:1–11)

As Jesus rode into Jerusalem, the crowds spread cloaks and branches and shouted “Hosanna!” The people celebrated that Jesus is the King God promised!

Brite Idea: Jesus came to save us.

Cleansing of the Temple (Matthew 21:12–17; Mark 11:15–18)

Jesus drove out from the temple the money changers and merchants who had used it to cheat people and make money. This angered the chief priests and scribes.

Brite Idea: Jesus loves what is right.

Judas Betrays Jesus (Luke 22:1–6, 39–53; John 13:1–17)

Jesus foretold His suffering and betrayal. Later in the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, but His disciples slept. Judas led a mob to arrest Jesus. Jesus was arrested and taken away.

Brite Idea: Jesus loves us while we are still sinners.

This Month’s Unit Title Is: The Great Love Race

Jesus races after us with relentless, unstoppable love. His love is not passive. It pursues, chases and overcomes every obstacle to reach our hearts. From the dusty roads of Galilee to the cross at Calvary, Jesus showed that love moves—it takes action, endures pain and never quits. Jesus ran the race all the way to the end for us. Preschool Perspectives

This Month’s Leader Training Topic Is: Why Do Kids Misbehave?

When working with kids, we are often shocked by the behaviors they choose. Some are humorous, but many are frustrating, disrespectful and can be downright irritating. You might catch yourself wondering, “Why would you do that?” This month we will explore the “why” behind kids’ misbehavior.

Throughout the month, we’ll explore the following:

Week 1 – Unmet Needs

Week 2 – Unrealistic Expectations

Week 3 – Unaware of the Rules

Week 4 – A Little Too Comfortable

Week 5 – Kids Are Still Kids

Teaching Kids about the Gospel:

The Gospel is the good news. God wants everyone, even preschoolers, to know this good news.

Here’s the Gospel in four main words: God, Us, Jesus, Trust.

God

God is a loving God who is all-powerful and great. He knows and sees everything, and rules over everything. God created all people in His image, and we are special to Him.

Us

But we have sinned, and our sin separates us from God. What is sin? Sin is anything we think, say or do that disobeys God.

Jesus

God loves us so much, He sent His one and only Son, Jesus. Jesus came to save us by dying on the cross for our sins. Jesus rose again three days later and is alive!

Trust

God gives salvation, rescuing us from our sin, to everyone who places their trust in Jesus as their Savior. What is trust? It means that we rely on what Jesus did.
